Windy Music

Ivan, Lil Dave and I went to the breakfast buffet on October 16, 2011.

We all headed to the Medusa Lounge.  Ivan entered the Sudoku Challenge.  Unfortunately, he finished 3 minutes after somebody completed their game.  Maybe next time he’ll win.

We walked to the Jasmine Restaurant for the Asian Fusion demonstration.  The demo was rubbish.  A Filipino chef rushed through a cooking demo of Kung Pao chicken.  Then, a chef started telling the group how to make shabu shabu.  It’s really not that hard to make shabu shabu – you just stick the ingredients into a big pot of broth and let them cook.  Ivan thought it best that we leave early.

It was time for the lunch buffet.  Our plates were filled and then we headed outside to hear the Oompah band.

Today, there was a beer festival onboard.

The boat was really bumpy today since it was a very windy day.  I’m so glad that I bought motion sickness pills – I can feel nauseous from the seasickness.

We went to see the show with multi-instrumentalist Andy Bunger.  He played a few different instruments like drums, trumpet and saxophone.  The show was okay.

It was time for dinner.

Ivan and I shared the cod and a vegetable burrito.  Lil Dave got a banana lasagna.  We shared the Signature cheesecake for dessert.  The meal was average.

Lil Dave went to the buffet to grab some bananas.

It was time to dance.  Ivan and I went to Spinnaker Lounge for the 70’s Funk-a-Licious Night.  We danced for a short time to 70’s music before going to sleep.
